Joseph conceptualized, designed, and built this showcase facility for Usem’s, the General Motors dealership in Austin using the design-build model for delivering construction services. The cost of an upscale showroom with storefront finishes of EIFS, cultured stone, and glass was offset by the economics of a pre-engineered steel service and body shop. Turnkey cost beat budget by over $40,000. The construction phase of this 20,000 SF project took less than 5 months and opened on schedule as the Owner was forced to vacate their former location.
